1. The bulk of Colombia's production is steam coal used in power plants. 2. In Nottingham's case, steam coal was easily available from the Nottinghamshire coalfield. 3. The mines produce primarily steam coal used to generate electrical power. 4. In New South Wales open casting for steam coal and anthracite is practised. 5. About 92 percent of production is steam coal for power generation. 6. These coal seams produced steam coal , household coal and coal for Tyldesley's gasworks. 7. It was a coal mining community, with several local collieries mining steam coal . 8. Gas coal, household and steam coal was mined from the Crumbouke and Six Foot mines. 9. Universal Colliery, located on the South Wales Coalfield, produced steam coal which was much in demand. 10. Four types of coal were mined : gas coal, household coal, manufacturing coal and steam coal .
